RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5098
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
EVERETT E. BOYLE FOR SERVING AS A MAINTENANCE WORKER I, PARKING
METER TECHNICIAN AND BUILDING MAINTENANCE MECHANIC FOR THE
GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SALINA FROM OCTOBER
1, 1967 TO JANUARY 3, 1997.
WHEREAS, during the period from October 1, 1967 to January 3,
1997, EVERETT E. BOYLE, served as a Maintenance Worker I, Parking Meter
Technician and Building Maintenance Mechanic for the General Services
Department of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, EVERETT E. BOYLE has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to EVERETT E. BOYLE, for his dedicated and faithful service as a Maintenance
Worker I, Parking Meter Technician and Building Maintenance Mechanic for the
General Services Department of the City of Salina, be and the same is hereby
entered upon the official records of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to EVERETT E. BOYLE.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 6th day of January, 1997.
