A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AND ESTABLISHING PARKING ZONES
THIN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, AND THE RESPECTIVE TIME LIMITS
EREIN; REPEALING ALL EXISTING RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THE
[)VISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBER
5040.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
sas:
Section 1. That in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 8-2002
following parking zones and time limits therein are hereby established.
THIRTY MINUTE PARKING
(a)
Two on street

(e) Lot 1A on the west side of Fifth Street, between
Walnut and Mulberry Streets.

between Walnut and Mulberry Streets.
g) West 1/2, the north and south sides, and the east
side of the center island south of the restrooms in Lot
4A between Walnut Street and Mulberry Street.
(h) Lot 2C on the east side of Fifth Street, between Iron
Avenue and Walnut Street.
(i) Lot 3B on the east side of Fifth Street, between Ash
Street and Iron Avenue.
(j) Lot 5C on the west side of Seventh Street, between
Iron Avenue and Walnut Street.
(k) The west row of spaces between the two entrances to
Seventh Street in Lot 6A on the east side of Seventh
Street between Ash Street and Iron Avenue.
(1) Lot 6B on the West side of Seventh Street, between
Ash Street and Iron Avenue.
(m) Lot 6B on the East side of Eighth Street, between
Ash Street and Iron Avenue.
(n) Lot 5C on the east side of Eighth Street between Iron
Avenue and Walnut Street.
(o) The east row of spaces between the two entrances to
Fifth Street in Lot 2B on the west side of Fifth Street
between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street.
(p) The south row of spaces in Lot 2A on the west side
of Fifth Street between Iron Avenue and Walnut
Street.
Section 2. That the parking limits specified in Section 1 of
this Resolution shall not apply where other limits within the zones thereby
created are otherwise specifically provided by ordinance.
Section 3. That this resolution shall repeal all existing
resolutions which may be in conflict with the provisions of this
resolution.
Section 4. That Resolution Number 96-5040 of the City of
Salina, Kansas, is hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and the installation of the appropriate
signs designating the various time limits for the respective zones.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the
Mayor this 6th day of January, 1997.
