RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5111
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING RECEIPT OF INFORMATION
REGARDING THE PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF INDUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS BY
THE SALINA AIRPORT AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the Salina Airport Authority (the "Authority") held a
public hearing on December 18, 1996, at 8:00 a.m. , at the Salina Airport
Authority Conference Room in the Salina Municipal Airport Terminal Building,
in the City of Salina, Kansas, on the proposed issuance by the Authority of
its Industrial Revenue Bonds (Coronado Engineering Inc. Project), in the
principal amount of not to exceed $1,300,000 (the "Bonds"), for the purpose of
providing funds to acquire, construct, furnish and equip a manufacturing
facility to be located on the south side of Wall Street in the 1700 block of
Wall Street at the Salina Airport Industrial Center in the City of Salina,
Kansas, and to be leased by the Authority to Coronado Engineering, Inc., a
Kansas corporation; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in The Salina
Journal on December 3, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the Authority has provided all information requested by
the governing body regarding the proposed issuance of the Bonds and the
public hearing held in connection therewith.
SO NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of
the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the proposed issuance by the Salina Airport
Authority of the Bonds is hereby approved within the meaning of the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 3rd day of February, 1997.
