RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5112
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH THE ALLIANCE FOR A HEALTHY
COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina agrees to join with other community
organizations and individuals in the common goal of promoting a healthy Saline
County, Kansas community through assessment, education and collaboration; and
_ WHEREAS, the ongoing role of the Alliance is to assess the health of
the community of Saline County, identify goals for improvement, establish
measurable indicators for each goal, analyze and monitor indicators of
improvement, foster community awareness and report on community change; and
WHEREAS, the Alliance will also assure that health and human
service assessment and improvement address the geographic ad population
diversity of the county. SO NOW THEREFORE,
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an
Interagency Agreement with the Alliance for a Healthy Community subject to
the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 3rd day of February, 1997.
