RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5127
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
ROBERT M. DICKERSON, PARKS DIVISION MAINTENANCE WORKER II, FOR
HIS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF SALINA FROM MAY 9, 1966 TO APRIL 1,
1997.
WHEREAS, during the period from May 9, 1966 to April 1, 1997, in
addition to Maintenance Worker II, ROBERT M. DICKERSON, also served as a
Laborer for the Parks Division of the Parks and Recreation Department,
Maintenance Worker II for the Water Distribution Division of the Engineering
and Utilities Department, Labor Foreman I and Lead Maintenance Worker for
the Parks Division of the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of
Salina; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT M. DICKERSON has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to ROBERT M. DICKERSON, for his dedicated and faithful service as a
Laborer for the Parks and Recreation Department, Maintenance Worker II for
the Water Distribution Division of the Engineering and Utilities Department,
Labor Foreman 1, Lead Maintenance Worker and Maintenance Worker II for the
Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Salina, be and the same is
hereby entered upon the official records of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to ROBERT M. DICKERSON.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 17th day of March, 1997.
