RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5139
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
ENGINEERING AGREEMENTS FOR MAJOR STORM DRAINAGE FEASIBILITY
REPORTS FOR THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an
engineering agreement with Wilson and Company for a Storm Drainage
Feasibility Report of the flood -prone area in Basin Number One (1) , Southeast
Salina near Magnolia Road and Ohio Street, subject to the terms and conditions
of the agreement, in an amount not to exceed $43,430.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an
engineering agreement with Bucher, Willis and Ratliff for a Storm Drainage
Feasibility
Report of the
flood -prone
area in Basin Number Two
(2) ,
Broadway
Boulevard
between Cloud
Street and
Republic Avenue, subject
to
the terms
and conditions of
the
agreement,
in an amount not to
exceed $67,045.68.
Section
3.
That the
Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute an
engineering agreement with Kaw Valley Engineering for a Storm Drainage
Feasibility Report
of the flood -prone area
in Basin
Number
Three
(3), Pacific
Avenue between
Ohio Street and Front
Street,
subject
to the
terms and
conditions of the agreement, in an amount not to exceed $34,600.00.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 7th day of April, 1997.
