RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5171
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
ENGINEERING AGREEMENTS FOR FOUR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has approved the current five year
Capital Improvement Program which includes four major transportation projects
for which outside consulting engineering services are necessary; and
WHEREAS, those projects are the South Ninth Street Corridor
Improvements Phase II, the Schilling Road Bridge Replacement, the Cloud
Street Bridge Replacement, and the Hazard Elimination System Intersection
Improvements. SO NOW THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
consulting engineering agreement with Wilson and Company for the South Ninth
Street Corridor Improvements Phase II in an amount not to exceed $130,816.00,
subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
consulting engineering agreement with Wilson and Company for the Schilling
Road Bridge Replacement in an amount not to exceed $62,801.00, subject to the
terms and conditions of the agreement.
Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
consulting engineering agreement with Earles and Riggs for the West Cloud
Street Bridge Replacement in an amount not to exceed $26,630.39, subject to
the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Section 4. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
consulting engineering agreement with Kirkham Michael for the Hazard
Elimination System Signalized Intersection Improvements in an amount not to
exceed $41,191.00, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Section 5. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 16th day of June, 1997.
