RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5178
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF SALINA TO
REIMBURSE ITSELF FROM BOND PROCEEDS
WHEREAS, the City has executed an agreement with Warmack Partnership regarding the
payment of certain costs associated with the improvement of Magnolia Road through Special
Assessments under K.S.A. 12-6a01, et seq; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to proceed in an expeditious manner with the construction of the
project; SO NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas;
Section 1. That the City of Salina, Kansas (the "City") expects to make capital expenditures
after the date of the Resolution in connection with the Construction and improvement of Magnolia Road
west of Belmont Avenue, and that the City intends to reimburse itself for such expenditures with the
proceeds of bonds or notes.
Section 2. That the maximum principal amount of the obligations expected to be issued for the
total project is $375,000.
Adopted by the Board of City Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 14t' day of July,
1997.
