RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5181
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION AND/OR
REMOVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES IN THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That in accordance with the provisions of Article 20,
Chapter 8 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, the City Manager is directed to
install and/or remove the following traffic control devices in the City of
Salina, Kansas:
1. Stop signs be installed on Neptune Avenue at Meadowlark Lane,
with Meadowlark Lane being the through street.
2. Stop signs be installed on Mars Avenue at Meadowlark Lane,
making Meadowlark Lane the through street.
3. Stop signs be installed on Haskett Avenue at Meadowlark Lane,
making Meadowlark Lane the through street.
4. Stop signs be installed on Chapel Ridge Place at Magnolia Road,
making Magnolia Road the through street.
5. Stop signs be installed on Key Avenue at Market Place, making
Market Place the through street.
6. Stop signs be installed on Planet Avenue at Belmont Boulevard,
making Belmont Boulevard the through street.
7. Stop signs be installed on Glen Avenue at Seitz Drive, making
Seitz Drive the through street.
8. Stop signs be installed on Edgehill Road at Fairdale Road,
making Fairdale Road the through street.
9. Stop signs be installed on Melrose Lane at Fairdale Road,
making Fairdale Road the through street.
10. Stop signs be installed on Parkway Avenue at Market Place,
making Parkway Avenue the through street.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 28th day of July, 1997.
