1.0 CIMCITY COMMISSION INFORMATION MEMORANDUM March 1, 2021 ADMINISTRATIVE BRIEF FROM LAUREN DRISCOLL COMMUNITY & DEVELOPMENT SERVICES The Community & Development Services department continued to stay busy during COVID-19 processing building permits and performing inspections. As we conclude the 2020 construction year, staff has begun to complete our end of year reports for each of our department divisions and has supplied the following information: Staffing was considerably reduced throughout the department from March — September of 2020 due to COVID related office closure and work share/furlough programs. Thanks to the employees within the Community and Development Services Department who were able to continue working, permit issuance and inspection requests were continued during these difficult times with little or no delay.
