A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A MUNICIPAL WATER CONSERVATION
PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SALINA.
WHEREAS, in order to qualify for any State funding programs or to
obtain additional water rights, the City of Salina is required to have an
approved water conservation plan on file with the Kansas Water Office; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has examined, studied and reviewed
said Municipal Water Conservation Plan for the City of Salina, SO NOW,
THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the Municipal Water Conservation Plan for the City
of Salina, which is hereby incorporated by reference, is approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to file
said Municipal Water Conservation Plan for the City of Salina with the Kansas
Water Office.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 20th day of October, 1997.
