Authorize the City Manager to ex ecute a Supplemental Agreement with Wilson and Company for
providing final design for soccer field improvements at Bill Burke Park.
BACKGROUND:
On May 10, 2004 the City Commission authorized amending the City’s Special Parks Fund budget to
fund the design and construction of three additional soccer fields at Bill Burke Park. Wilson and
Company was previously authorized to prepare a concept design and development of a master plan
for the soccer complex which was originally lo cated on North Ohio St reet. The City Manager
approved Supplemental Agreement No. 1 for concept planning and layout for the Schilling/Ohio Site at
a cost of $7,667. This Supplem ental Agreement No. 2 is for the final design of the soccer
improvements for Bill Burke Park.
FISCAL NOTE:
The 2004 Budget of the Special Parks Fund Salina allocates $30,000 for soccer capital improvement
planning. The combined cost of Supplemental Agreements 1 & 2 is $23,459 leaving a remainder in
the 2004 budget of $6,541 for future project planning needs.
RECOMMENDATION
:
Authorize the City Manager to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with Wilson and Company for
providing preliminary site concepts and layouts for soccer field improvements at Bill Burke Park for a
cost not to exceed $15,792.

are also not in favor of "no parking" sign or no parking
yellow stripes on our street as it is a very narrow street
