Award the contract to perform the 1997 Spring Street Marking Project.
The City's maintenance practice is~tOconl~act repainting the street pavement markings or striping
twice a year. When weather has interfered and the street marking was not accomplished, the
payement marking required extra work in layout and many markings were illegible, creating a
sa/ety concern.
Two bids were received on Tuesday, March 11, 1997 to perform the Spring 1997 Street Marking
(pavement striping) for the City of Salina. The tabulation of the bid is:
