A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
POLICE LIEUTENANT RONALD K. STYLES FOR HIS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY
OF SALINA FROM FEBRUARY 22, 1968 TO JUNE 15, 1970 AND FROM SEPTEMBER 15,
1974 TO JULY 1, 2000.
WHEREAS, during the period from February 22, 1968 to June 15, 1970, RONALD K.
STYLES served as a Police Patrolman for the Police Department of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, during the period from September 15, 1974 to July 1, 2000, RONALD K.
STYLES served as a Police Officer, Police Sergeant, and Police Lieutenant for the Police Department
of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, RONALD K. STYLES has demonstrated invaluable and dedicated service
to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of the City of Salina
are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to RONALD K.
STYLES, for his dedicated and faithful service as a Police Officer, Police Sergeant, and Police
Lieutenant for the Police Department of the City of Salina, be and the same is hereby entered upon the
official records of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this resolution delivered to
RONALD K. STYLES.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 26' day of June,
2000.
