RESOLUTION NUMBER 03-6009
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO FIRE
ENGINEER/EMT, DAVID L. VAUPEL FOR HIS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF
SALINA FROM MAY 21, 1979 TO DECEMBER 13, 2003.
WHEREAS, during the period from May 21, 1979 to December 13, 2003 DAVID L.
VAUPEL served as a Firefighter, Firefighter/Engineer, Fire Engineer/EMT, Acting Fire
Lieutenant/EMT and Fire Engineer/EMT for the Fire Department of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, DAVID L. VAUPEL has demonstrated invaluable and dedicated service to
the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of the City of Salina
are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to DAVID L.
VAUPEL, for his dedicated and faithful service as a Firefighter, Firefighter/Engineer, Fire
Engineer/EMT, Acting Fire Lieutenant/EMT and Fire Engineer/EMT for the Fire Department of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this resolution delivered to
DAVID L. VAUPEL.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 8th day of
December, 2003.
