Resolution Number 03-5999 appointing members to the Arts and Humanities Commission and the
Disciplinary Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND:
The Citizen Boards and Commissions administrative Resolution Number 90-4242, section 2(c),
instructs that members will be appointed by resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City
Commission for final approval.
At this time openings do exist on the above noted boards. In order to continue to stagger term
expirations some of these appointments are for partial terms allowing the appointees to serve two
additional full three year consecutive terms if interested in doing so. The appointments by this
resolution will provide continuity of citizen participation and input.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution Number 03-5999.
