CITIZEN COMMENTS ON POSSIBLE SWIMMING POOL PROJECT FOR THE CITY'S
FUTURE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
Two citizens have requested time on the Commission's formal agenda to address this topic.
From prior staff discussions with them, the likely focus of their comments will be toward a
possible formation of a citizens task force to review pool needs and options. This is a format
used recently in several Kansas communities. Staff believes the concept has some merit.
Action:
None required. Commission can take the comments/request under advisement for discussion
and consideration during our April/May C.I.P. planning process.
