Letter Carrier Week
April 28 - May 4
WHEREAS, The Letter Carries of Kansas Provid~a Service to almost
every citizen in the state.
WHEREAS, The 63rd Annual Convention. of The Kansas State Letter
Carriers will be held at the Hilton Inn on May 2nd and 3rd, 1975 and
WHEREAS, Said Convention is being hosted by Salina Branch ~486,
National Association of Letter Carriers and Ksnsas Letter Carrier
Auxiliary ~76.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved that I, t,'illiam Usher , Mayor of
Salina, Kansas, proclaim the week of April 28 through May 4, 1975 as
LETTER CARRIER WEEK
in recognition of the faithful and reliable Letter Carrier which
brings the mail to your door each day. And I urge all citizens to
join in public recognition of this service.
WHEREAS, In writing I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal
of the City of Salina, Kansas to be affixed this 2]$t day of April 1975
