Enclosed please find a resolution regarding the inadequacy
of water protection in North Salina.
This resolution was passed unanimously on November 6, 1974,
by the membership of the North Salina ~usinessmen's Association
and urges the governing body of the City of Salina to take action
as soon as possible to correct this problem.
The Association members would appreciate your placing this
question on the agenda and.notify President John hoover when the
subject will be discussed. We will plan to attend this meeting.

RESOLUTION:
The North Salina Businessmen's Association urges the Salina
City Commission to operate in all haste to correct the lack of
water availability in North Salina. Studies have shown this to be
a serious problem in cases of emergency when a large volume of
water is needed. The Businessmen of North Salina do not feel their
properties are being adequately protected and urge immediate action
regarding this problem.
