The National. Federation of Bus,ness and Professional Women's
Clubs consists of a group of generally recognized leaders in
their several fields of activities and c~m~nities; and
One of the precepts of the Federation is to advocate and
e~ercise the right of franchise as citizens with active
participation in their chosen party, and to keep America
aecure under a strong representative system of self
government; and
It is proper that a special time be set aside and proclaimed
in recognition of the public services of all the members of
the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's
Clubs; '
NOW THEREF0~, I, William M. Usher, Mayor of the city of
Salina, Kansas, do hereby proclaim the week'of October 21-27,
1974 as National Business Women's ~eek, and urge our citizens -
to cooperate for its recognition ~ success.
