and daughters served honora ~y in the United States .Navy~ United'States
Nmrine Corps and the United States Coast Guard; and
WHEREAs, ~ny of their sons and dauEhters died in the defense of their Country
daring the World Wars and the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War; and
WHF~QEAS~ the p~rpose of this organization is charitable and e~ucational; and
WHERF~, they promote a friendly and sympathetic and social relationship among the
parents of N~vy men and women; and
WHEREAS~ 'they collect and disseminate information relating to the ~_~ner of living
and environment of its personnel; and
WHEREAS, they cultivate a respectful and cordial attitude of civilization toward
men in the Naval Service; and
WHEREAS,. they work ~ntiringly and ~nselfishly in the Naval and Veterans hospitals
throoghout the COuntry; and .
