Gentlemen:
Enclosed, please find one (1) certified copy of the
proposed Land Use Plan (including a copy of the Plan
Map) for theoSalina Area as approved by the Salina
Metropolitan Planning Commission at their meeting
of March 19, 1974.
This document is being transmitted to you under the
provisions of K.S.A. 12-704, which provides that you
"...shall, within sixty (60) days after the receipt
thereof, consider such proposed plan or part thereof
and submit a statement containing [your] recommendations
regarding the same to the planning commission."
We shall then reconsider the plan with your statements,
make any appropriate changes, and then adopt it as the
official plan of the City of Salina.
