Dear Mr. Olsson~
In our agreement with the City of Salins for the purchase of water,
we are restricted on new hook-ups for owners of less than 20 acres unless
there were in exempted sites as specified. One of the exempted sites was
the "town of Mentor"e
We have a request from 3 owners for 3 hook, ups on the south side of
the road .running thro[~h Mentor, immediately east of ho~s already
This area would easily qualify as a part of the "town of Mentor'., but is
outside the platted townsiteo
We ask that you present to the City Commissioners our request for an
exemption from this restric[ion, so that the Water District Board can
consider whether or not we wish to hook up these owners.
I m~ght say that if we are able to hook-up these three, i+, would tax
the 1Lmit of the lines we have laid in this area, and I am sure there will
be no further requests for exemption there. The line we would be attaching
to is only I0' plastic pipe~ '
