Gentlemen and Mrs. Cooper:
On March 5, 1974 the Salina'Metropolitan Planning Commission
heard Petition #3397 by the A. B. Seelye Company, Inc., Stewart R.
Etherington, President for the rezoning of a tract of land in the
Southwest Quarter (S.W. 1/4) of Section 17-14-2 from Districts "A"
(First Family Dwelling House District) and "H" (Agricultural
District) to District "C" (Apartment House District).
By a unanimous vote of those present, it.was recommended that
Petition #3397 be approved, subject to platting.
The property to be rezoned is more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point two hundred (200) feet east of the
Southwest Corner (S.W. Cor.) of Section Seventeen (17)
Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the
Sixth P.M. in Saline County, Kansas; thence north 387 feet;
thence east 392.69 feet; thence north 650 feet; thence
east 1902 feet; thence south a distance of 1037 feet to
the south line of said Section 17; thence 2294.69 feet
west along the south line of said Section 17 to the point-
of-beginning.
