A resolution appointing members to the Accessibility Advisory Board, Arts and Humanities
Commission, Business Improvement District No. 1 Board of Advisors, Business Improvement District
No. 1 Design Review Board, Convention and Tourism Committee, Disciplinary Advisory Board,
Heritage Commission, Salina Housing Authority, Library Board, Planning Commission, Salina
Economic Development Incentives Council, Solid Waste Management Committee, and Tree Advisory
Board.
BACKGROUND:
Resolution Number 12-6875 adopts the citizens’ boards and commission policy. Section 2 instructs
that members will be appointed by resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City Commission for
final approval.

ARTS AND HUMANITIES COMMISSION, BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1
BOARD OF ADVISORS, BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1 DESIGN REVIEW
BOARD, CONVENTION AND TOURISM COMMITTEE, DISCIPLINARY ADVISORY
BOARD, HERITAGE COMMISSION, SALINA HOUSING AUTHORITY, HUMAN
RELATIONS COMMISSION, LIBRARY BOARD, PLANNING COMMISSION, SALINA
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES COUNCIL, SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
COMMITTEE, AND TREE ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, Section 2(c) of Resolution Number 90-4242 calls for Citizen Board member appointments
to be made by resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City Commission for final approval; and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on certain Citizen Boards, Commissions and Committees; SO
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The following, as proposed by the Mayor of the City of Salina, is hereby appointed to the
designated Board for the term indicated:
