The ordinance amends existing Section 42 -518 of Chapter 42, Arti- cle X, Division 2 of the Sa- lina Cade by adding ad vertieng signs as a func- tional type of sign that can be approved through a Conditional Use Permit in the U (University) district; by adding scoreboard signs to the list of strut ted in the U (University) district; and by allowing signs that do not meet the size and height limitations and setback requirements for signs located at out door stadiums in the U (University) district to be conditionally permitted through the Conditional Use Permit process.
