A resolution appointing members to the Accessibility Advisory Board, Convention and Tourism
Committee, Disciplinary Advisory Board, and Human Relations Commission.
BACKGROUND:
The Citizen Boards and Commissions administrative Resolution Number 90-4242, section 2(c),
instructs that members will be appointed by resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City
Commission for final approval.
COMMISSION ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 12-6937.
RESOLUTION NUMBER 12-6937
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ACCESSIBILITY ADVISORY BOARD,
CONVENTION AND TOURISM COMMITTEE, DISCIPLINARY ADVISORY BOARD, AND
HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Section 2(c) of Resolution Number 90-4242 calls for Citizen Board member appointments
to be made by resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City Commission for final approval; and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on certain Citizen Boards, Commissions and Committees; SO
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The following, as proposed by the Mayor of the City of Salina, is hereby appointed to the
designated Board for the term indicated:
Accessibility Advisory Board
Tracey Sin appointed to succeed Shirley Aschraft until 8/31/2015.
Convention and Tourism Committee
William Cooper appointed to succeed Kathy Tolbert until 8/31/2016.
Disciplinary Advisory Board
Marla McDonough appointed to fill the unexpired term of Joel Cromwell.
Robin Nash appointed to succeed Randy Lamer until 8/31/2015.
Shane Reif appointed to succeed Brian Kinnaird until 8/31/2015.
Human Relations Commission
Rodrigo Bonilla appointed to succeed Chanel Thomas until 8/31/2015.
Andres Mata appointed as a youth member until 8/31/2013.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 1st day of October, 2012.
