The City of Salina will hold
a public hearing on Mon-
day, January 28th, 2013,
at 4:00 PM in the City
County Building Commis-
sion Meeting Room 107
for the purpose of consid-
ering an application to be
submitted to the Kansas
Department of Commerce
or Small Cities Community
Development Block Grant
fund under the Downtown
Commercial Rehabilitation
category. A specific pro-
ject application to be dis-
cussed is the purchase of
the land and structure at
100 North 5th Street that
will consist of rehabilita-
tion of a newly proposed
professional office build
ing. The estimated project
costs exceed $1,100,000
with the requested
$250,000 of grant funds
along with a match
amount of $94,000 from
the private business to be
used for the purchase of
land and buildings. Other
project proposals intro
duced at the hearing will
be considered. Oral and
writing comments will be
recorded and become a
part of the Salina CDBG
Citizen Participation Plan.
Reasonable accommoda-

day Friday January 15th,
