Gentlemen and Mrs. Cooper:
The Metropolitan Planning Commission, by a unanimous vote of all
members present, recommends approval of Petition #3279, filed by
Roy Wilbur, requesting rezoning of the South 45 feet of Let 26
and all of Lot 28, Block 6, Bonds Addition to the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, from District "B" (Two-Family Dwelling House
District), to District "C" (Apartment House District), for the
following reasons:

The land density per unit would be the same as a duplex zone,
which is presently allowed.
A blighting condition on a major thoroughfare would be
corrected.
