Yes~ property available near a shopping, center and public school is very scarce and almost non-existent in the zoning class C. 10. These lots have been. vacant for many years. Most of the area is badly in need of improvement. Duplex construction is not now economical due to bigb construction cost so the property would probably be vacant for some time. T]~ere are numerous apartments in this area and it is doubtful a single family dwelling would ever be built on these sites. New apartments would certainly improve the area considerable.
