Septembor 17, 1972, marks the one hundred eighty-
fourth anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution
of the United States of America by the Constitutional
Convention; and
WHEREAS,
To accord official recognition to this memorable
anniversary, and to the patriotic exercise that will
form a noteworthy fe'ature of the occasion, seems fitting
and proper; and

Public Law No. 91~ guarantees the issuing of a procla-
mation each year by the President of the United States
of America designating September 17 through 23 as
Constitution Week,
NOW, THEREFOR~, I Jack Weisoerber by virtuo of the authority
vested in me as ~a¥or of the City of Salina in the State
of Kansas do hereby problaim the week of September 17
through 23, 1972, as
CONSTITUTION WEEK
in the City of Salina, and urg~ all our citizens to
pay special attention during the week to our Federal
Co~s6itution and the advantages of American Citizenship.
