(A) We,the undersigned, being owners of record of property liable for assessment for the following improvements:
The trenching backfilling and installation of approximately 8500 lineal feet of fifteen-inch sanitary sewer main,associated manholes,
and all appurtenances for a complete sanitary sewer system.
Hereby propose that such improvement be made in the manner provided by Article 6a,Chapter 12 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, as
amended.
(B) The estimate or probable cost of such improvement is:
Five Hundred Seventy Thousand Five Hundred Eight Four Dollars and 90/100($570,584.90).
(C) The extent of the proposed improvement district to be assessed as indicated on the attached drawing and is described as follows:
Lot 1-3 Block 1 Lots 1-2 Block 2, Lots 1-2, Block 3, Lots 1-5, Block 4, Lots 1-5, Block 5,and Lots 1-2, Block 6, all of Liberty Addition No.2;
the North Y2 of Lot 1 Block 1 South Industrial Area#3;and two(2)Unplatted Tracts(Unplatted Tract#1 and Unplatted Tract#2)as
described on the attached sheet and shown on the attached Benefit District Map.
(D) The proposed method of assessment is:
Shall be equally per square foot based on the square footage of each lot,except that the square footage of the unplatted tracts of land
shall be determined using the ratio of developable lot area to raw land area in the Liberty Addition No.2.
(E) The proposed apportionment of costs between the improvement district and the improvement district and the City-at-large is:
One Hundred percent ( 100 %)to be assessed against the improvement district and
Zero percent ( 0 %)to be assessed against the City-at-large.
(F) We further propose that such improvement be made without notice and hearing as required by K.S.A. 12-6a04(a)as amended.
