We, the undersigned, owners of record of property located within the City of Salina, Kansas (the "City") do hereby
respectively request that the Governing Body of the City create and designate an improvement district for the
purpose of making certain improvements in the manner provided by K.S.A. 12-6a01,et seq.
(A) The general nature of the proposed improvements are as follows:
The installation of approximately 3000 lineal feet of 12"water main,fire hydrants,valves,fittings,and necessary incidentals.
(the"Improvements").
(B) The estimated or probable cost of the Improvements is:
Two Hundred Ninety Thousand Seventy Six Dollars and 00/100($290,076.00).
(C) The extent of the proposed improvement district to be assessed is:
Lots 1 &2, Block 1, King Industries Subdivision to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas and Unplatted Tract#1 (Tract 6),
Unplatted Tract #2(Tract 713),and Unplatted Tract#3 (9). See attached legal descriptions for the three Unplatted Tracts.

(D) The proposed method of assessment shall be:
Each lot and Unplatted Tract in the improvement district shall be assessed equally per square foot.
(E) The proposed apportionment of costs between the improvement district and the improvement district and the city
at large is:
COST CHARGEABLE TO PRIVATE PROPERTY:
1. Approximately 58.5%of the total cost of the water system improvements lying west of the centerline of the West Dry
Creek channel(outside the core Salina city limits).
COST CHARGEABLE TO CITY:
1. Approximately 41.5%of the total cost of the water system improvements lying west of the centerline of the West Dry
Creek channel(outside the core Salina city limits).
2. 100%of the total cost of the water system improvements lying east of the centerline of the West Dry Creek channel
(inside the core Salina city limits).
(F) The signers of this Petition hereby request that the Improvements be made without further notice and hearing as
required by K.S.A. 12-6a04(a)
