GRANT OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, made this 28th day of June 2011, by and between
JEANNE M.NORTON and FRANK C.NORTON,Trustees of the JEANNE M.NORTON TRUST,
dated May 3,2002("Grantors")and the CITY OF SALINA,KANSAS,a municipal corporation(the
city
WITNESSETH: That the Grantors, for good and valuable consideration, do hereby grant
and convey unto the City that certain portion of land owned by the Grantors legally described on the
attached and incorporated Exhibit A and depicted as right-of-way on the attached and incorporated
Exhibit B as public right-of-way, in perpetuity (the "Right-of-Way") for the purposes of locating,
constructing, excavating and maintaining:
A. Public,means of transportation including roadways, streets,
bridges, sidewalks, paths, crosswalks and traffic control
devices;
B. Public drainage structures including, but not limited to,
culverts, pipes, levees and channels;
C. Public landscaping and other aesthetic improvements; and
D. Poles, wires, conduit, pipeline and junction boxes for the
purpose of conducting, transmitting and distributing water,
sewage,electricity,gas and electronic communications by the
City, its franchisees and its licensees.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantors have hereunto caused this instrument to be
