EARL VANCLEEF
50 YEARS OF SERVICE
SALINA MUNICIPAL BAND
Whereas: Earl VanCleef has faithfully served as an active member
of the Salina Municipal Band for fifty years, beginning service
in 1932.
Whereas: Earl VanCleef has served as manager of the Salina
Municipal Band for many years.
Whereas: Earl VanCleef has been playing the clarinet since he
was seven years old.
Whereas: Such service and dedication to his art and to the people
of Salina are worthy of public recognition.
Be it therefore understood: that this expression o.f gratitude
and appreciation to Earl VanCleef is the City of Salina's
official way of saying thank you for helping to make our burdens
lighter and our days more joyous through the music that you have
shared with us.
