4.3 Foster Parent MonthWHEREAS, Foster Parent~ continue i~ provide a family home for
ch~dren in need of care in Kansas;
WHEREAS, the children of Kansas are our hope for the f~ture and
need to be afforded the b~t opportun~Xies available;
WHEREAS, these foster parents address children's needs d~ectly
and effectiv~y in both crisis and everyday situations; and
WHEREAS, these foster parent~ need the informed support of our
community to cont~nua~y maintain and improve the quality
o~ services t~ our children.
THEREFORE, I, Merle A. Hodges, Mayor of the City of Salina,
Kansas, do hereby proclaim April as
