4.6 Catholic Schools WeekWHEREAS,
The Chief Administrators Department, Notional Catholic Educational
Association, and the Depar~,e~ of Education, Llnited States
Catholic Conference have established a Cc~holic Schools Week
to be celebrated during one week of the school year; and
WHEREAS, The Salina Catholic Schools have set the week of February 14
through 20, 1982, as Salina Catholic Schools ~feek; and
WHEREAS, These Catholic Schools serve the educational needs of almost 900
students in Salina; and
WHEREAS, These Catholic Schools have been serving the Salina people for
over 100 years;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Me~e A. Hodges, Mayor of the City of Salina, Kansas,
do hereby proclc~b~ the week of February 14 through 20, 1982, as
SALINA CATHOLIC SCHOOLS ~vEEK
in the City of Salina, Kansas, in recognition of the contributions
of Catholic Schools to Salina.
