This request would allow the filing of specifications on June 1, 1981
for window revisions at Fire Station No. 1. The work involves the replacement
of 8 windows in the apparatus room with energy efficient glass blocks and
thermo-pane windows. The two end windows will be totally glass blocked.
The other six will have thermo-pane sections (32" x 24") which hinge at the
top and can be opened by shoving the bottom outward. This work is being
financed out of the Revenue Sharing Fund of the 1981 Budget.
We suggest a letting date be scheduled for this project on June 18, 1981.
