The following two (2) surplus fire pumpers were advertised for sale through the months of October and
November:

Recommendation:
1. Staff recommends sale of the 1966 Ford pumper to Hays Fire Equipment for $5,990.
2. Staff recommends rejecting the bid for the 1973 American Custom pumper, and authorizing staff
to readvertise this surplus equipment on a state and national basis to obtain a price considerably
closer to its market value.
