This agreement made and entered into this 15 day of June, 1973, by and
between the City of Salina.~ Kansas, a muricipal corporation, hereinafter referred
to as the "City", and the St. Francis Boys Hc~e of Salina, Kansas, a Kansas non-
profit corporation, with principal office at Salina, Kansas, hereinafter referred
to as "St. Frs/lcis".

~ St. Francis has for the past several years undertaken a program to
prevent the development of juvenile deliquency which said program has been known
as "Passport for Adventure"; and,
WHEREAS said Passport for Adventure program has been successful in the past
in achieving its objectives; and~,
WHEREAS the purposes of said Passport for Adventure program are such to
qualify it as a priority expenditure under the State and Local Assistance Act
of 1972.
NOW, T~LERE~XDRE, in consideration of the covenants herein contained it is
mutually agreed io~ and between t~e parties hereto as follows:
(1). City hereby agrees to contract with St. Francis to provide a Passport
for Adventure program for twelve families residing within the corporate li~ts
of the City of Salina, Kansas, under the following terms and conditions, to wit~
(a). St. Francis agrees to conduct its Passport for Adventure program
in substantially the same manner as it has during the past several years
under grants received from the Governor's Con~ttee on Criminal Administration.
(b). City agrees to pay St. Francis t~e sum of $814.50 for each
family participating in said Passport for Adventure program or a total
of $9,774.00.
(c). City and St. Francis shall jointly select t~e twelve families
residing within the corporate limits of tl~e City of Salina, Kansas, who
shall participate in said program.
(d). St. Francis agrees to provide the City with evaluation reports
of the participating families at t2~e completion of said program.
(e). The Passport for Adventure program shall con, hence approximately
in the month of July, 1973~ and shall conclude in the month of May
19 74.
(f). This agreement shall be for the year 1973 and neither party
hereto shall be under any obligation to continue said program in future
years.
(2). This agreement shall be binding upon t~e respective successors and
assigns of the parties to this agreement.
