City Hall
Salina, Kansas
Gentlemen:
The Salina Chamber of Commerce requests your esteemed body grant permission
to the Salina Chamber-of Commerce to effect and hang Christmas decorations
that are already in place in downtown Salina.
It is with regret that we were not aware of the city ordinances governing this
ma~er, but we appreciate the fine cooperation on the part of the city in allowing
these decorations to remain without the specific request being granted.
We trust this matter will meet with your favorable approval and we will
henceforth submit our request prior to the errection and hanging of the
holiday decorations.
Sincerely,
James N. Preston, Manager
