Gentlemen:
I respectfully request, on behalf of my firm, Salins FM,
Inc., owner of radio station KAFM, the permission to
string a wire across Santa Fe and also across Iron Avenue
at the Santa Fe and Iron intersection. This wire is a
small insulated wire used to connect various speakers
together for providing soft background music in front of
the various merchants' places of business in the two-
block area extending from Ash to Walnut, using both sides
of the street.
We have secured pe~mlssion from the Kansas Power & Light
people to use their poles for this wire and now beg your
acceptance of our plan to run the wire across these two
streets.
This wire is a non-electrical, Class 2, type wiring and
does not present any electrical hazard in any form due to
malfunction or other reasons.
