Rebid of Chipper Truck for Parks and Recreation Dept.
Background:
The 2003 Vehicle and Equipment Plan includes replacement of the Forestry Division chipper truck.
All bids for this vehicle were over budget in phase one bidding in January and were rejected.
Specifications were revised, reducing the GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) and engine type. The
vehicle was re-bid February 18.
Two bids were received with both meeting specifications. Bids are as follows:
