Sidewalk Repair Repayment AgreementSIDEWALK REPAIR OR RECONSTRUCTION REPAYMENT AGREEMENT
This Repayment Agreement is entered into this 12th day of January, 2011 by and
between the CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS (the "City") and Amanda Worthen ("Property Owner").
Recitals.
A. The Property Owner owns the real estate addressed as 853 S. Ninth Street, Salina,
Kansas (the "Property").
B. The Property Owner was cited by the City to repair or replace the sidewalk abutting
the property addressed above.
C. The Property Owner is requesting that the City repair or replace the sidewalk in
accordance to the sidewalk standards in the Salina City Code.
THE PARTIES therefore covenant and agree:
1. Promise to Pay. The Property Owner agrees to reimburse the City any costs of the
repair or replacement of the sidewalk, plus the administrative fee set by the
Governing Body.
2. Installments. The property owner agrees to pay the City a minimum of $50.00 per
month by the last business day of each month until the debt has been paid in full:
3. Delinquency. The property owner agrees that if a payment is not received within ten
days after the last business day of the month, the account will become delinquent. If
the account remains delinquent for' 30 days, the City of Salina will proceed with
levying the cost of the sidewalk improvements on the upcoming year's property tax.
Once the cont has been levied the" amount owed will become due at the time of
paying the property tax.
IN WITNESS WHERE OF, the parties have executed this Agreement the day and year
stated above.
