AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF
REDBUD LANE, TWIN OAKS DRIVE, OAK LANE, PUBLIC STREETS IN THE CITY
OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION
OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS IN BLOCKS FIVE (5) AND SEVEN (7), TWIN OAKS II
SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That all that portion of REDBUD LANE from the north line
of Burr Oak Lane to the south line of Twin Oaks Drive, which is adjacent to
Lots Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7), and Eight (8), Block 5; Lot One (1), Block
Six (6), and Lots Six (6) and Seven (7), Block Seven (7), Twin Oaks II
Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is
hereby vacated.
Section 2. That all that portion of TWIN OAKS DRIVE from the west
line of Ohio Street to the west line of Lot Thirteen (13), Block Four (4),
extended southward; which is adjacent to Lot Thirteen (13), Block Four (4);
Lots Four (4) and Five (5), Block Five (5); and Lot One (1), Block Six (6),
Twin Oaks II Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and
the same is hereby vacated.
Section 3. That all that portion of OAK LANE from the west line of
Redbud Lane to the east line of Tara Lane, which is adjacent to Lots One and
Eight (8), Block Five (5); and Lots Five (5) and Six (6), Block Seven (7), Twin
Oaks II Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the
same is hereby vacated.
Section 4. That the Twenty foot (;~0') utility easement lying between
Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7), and
Eight (8), Block Five (5), Twin Oaks II Subdivision of the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 5. That the Ten foot (10') utility easement located on the
east side of and parallel with the sixteen and one hail foot (16.5') telephone
easement on the west side of Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3) and Four (4),
Block Five (5), and Lots Five (5) and Eight (8), Block Seven (7), Twin Oaks II
Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is
hereby vacated.
Section 6. That the Twenty foot (20f) utility easement located
between Lots Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7) and Eight (8), Block Seven (7), Twin
Oaks II Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the
same is hereby vacated.
Section 7. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
