SCOPE:
This project involved the annexation of 8 tracts of land consisting of 152 acres along the North Ohio Corridor to
allow those properties to connect to the City's water and sewer. Approximately 90% of the costs will be assessed
to the benefit district that consists of 14 properties.
DISCUSSION:
This project is substantially complete. Clean-up work and sanitary sewer pump station work remaining.

FIFTH AND STIMMEL WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS
SCOPE:
This project included in the Capital Improvement Program includes a public sanitary sewer system to serve thirty-
two residential properties in the vicinity of Fifth Street and Stimmel Road. Many of these existing residential
properties have experienced failure of their septic systems. 50% of the cost of the sewer improvements were
assessed to the properties in this improvement district with the remainder of the project costs to be financed by the
city utility at-large.
DISCUSSION:
This project is 99% complete. Clean-up wQrk remaining.

Construction is approximately 90% complete. Signal and median work continues.

SCOPE:
This project involves the contract street marking (line painting) of approximately 76 miles of city streets. This type
of work has been contracted for several years due to its cost effectiveness, quality, safety and expediency. The
bid represents the cost on one seasonal application. The same amount will be paid for four applications (Spring,
'02, Fall, 02', Spring '03 and Fall 03').
DISCUSSION:
Street marking for the Fall will begin in October and be completed by the middle of November.

This project is underway and approximately 15% complete. Basement concrete work is complete with
structural steel now being erected.

This project is funded from the 2002 C.I.P. Improvement for Flood and Drainage. The 1900 block of South Ninth
Street will be converted from a roadside ditch drainage system to an underground pipeline drainage system. The
reconstruction of an existing, badly deteriorated and nearly blocked drainage pipeline along the curb line of Beloit
Ave. from Sunrise Dr. to Roach Street will be replaced from an existing 15" clay pipe with an 18" reinforced concrete
pipe under the pavement
DISCUSSION:
Construction on this project is scheduled to begin October 7, 2002.

DISCUSSION:
Construction on this project will start the middle of September. Privately funded sewer and water construction has
begun in this subdivision.

This project converts an open drainage swale to an underground piping system within an existing drainage

This project will bid on October 22, 2002.
