4.2 SteelDay 2010WHEREAS,
structural steel is the product that is used to build hospitals, schools,
office buildings, bridges and industrial facilities; and
WHEREAS,
structural steel leads the construction industry with a fully integrated
supply chain that uses advanced tech nology at all stages of design and
construction, a technology that has been proven to reduce or eliminate errors,
improve safety and lower project cost; and
WHEREAS,
structural steel is the most recycled material on the planet; and
WHEREAS,
SteelDay is a great opportunity to allow designers and other to see
first hand how the structural steel indu stry for building hi gh performance and
sustainable projects;
WHEREAS,
SteelDay 2010 is the second annual national event celebrating the
steel industry, specifically the structural steel industry; and
WHEREAS,
PKM Steel Service, Inc. will host SteelDay 2010 in the Salina area.
NOW, THEREFORE
