Dear Mr. Bassett:
Our Engineer, Mr. T. J. Stephens, recently discussed
with you the necessity for encasing the City's 16 -inch
water line at the point where proposed track to serve
Western Auto Distribution Center's new facility will
cross it. He asked that we furnish you a print showing
the alignment of the proposed track where it crosses
your water line.
Attached:";are two copies of print dated April 14, 1971.
They provide you information and also indicate the amount
of casing required to comply with our Common Standard.
We would appreciate your arranging for this work to
be accomplished in the immediate future as the industry
has requested that their track be constructed at an early
date. Obviously, it would be much less expensive for you
to perform this work prior to the construction of the
track rather than afterwards.
