Dear Mr. Murdock:
We have contacted Stevens Contractors, Inca regarding :the
encasement of our 16 -inch water line, as required by the railroad
company, east of your Salina plant prior to their installing your
siding tract. Mr. Stevens is working.in Salina now and will begin
your encasement project within the next two weeks. We have also
contacted the railroad company and will coordinate the work with
them from this end.
In regard to disposal of waste material from your wastewater
pre-treatment system for your new battery production facility in
Salina, the City operates a landfill approximately seven miles
west from your plant site. This landfill is -operated on a fee
basis and will have an $8.00 to $10.00 gate fee per load for a
5,000 gallon tank truck depending on -gross weight of the hauling
unit. The material placed in the landfill would have to be
chemically stable and not cause the formationof odors or gases.
Sincerely,
