Gentlemen:
As you are aware, Kansas Power and Light Company is constructing a new
substation in Salina, Kansas which will be located next to the flood
control dike near the Crawford Street Interchange on the west side of
town. The enclosed print shows the exact location.
In order to bring the 12.47KV underground distribution circuits out of
the substation, it will be necessary to locate the riser poles on the
flood control dike.
In order to assure restoration of the dike to your requirements, would
you please forward drawings of the dike which show how it was constructed?
Once design is completed in this area, we will forward to you our proposed
installation for your approval.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Very truly yours,
